Grok Bot for real estate is a hosted assistant from xAI that can draft lead replies, write first-pass listing descriptions from your notes and photos, book showings on Google Calendar, research a market in its browser with source links, and send you a daily lead digest on a schedule. It runs in the cloud, so routines keep going while your laptop is closed.

What Grok Bot for real estate can and can't connect to
xAI's security docs list the built-in connectors. The ones that matter for a real estate office:
- Gmail: search and read mail, draft and send, apply labels.
- Google Calendar: read calendars, create and update events, check free time, answer invitations. xAI notes it cannot add a Zoom link.
- Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides: files, trackers and presentations.
- Outlook, Outlook Calendar, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams, for Microsoft offices.
- WhatsApp Business, where many buyers already message you.
- Zoho CRM, the only CRM in the table.
The table lists no connector for any MLS, Zillow, Realtor.com, Follow Up Boss, kvCORE, Calendly or DocuSign. xAI's advice is to "use the browser for services without an app." Grok Bot can also add an MCP server by URL. Check each site's terms before an agent works in it.
One setup fact to know: all your Bots share one persistent cloud computer, and each Bot gets its own screen on it. Files and sign-ins on that computer are shared across your Bots. xAI says the screens are separate work surfaces, not security boundaries, so don't put a client file there that another Bot shouldn't use.

Grok Bot for real estate workflows you can copy
1. New-lead follow-up drafts
You can claim an address at mail.grokbot.com for your Bots, with plus aliases such as yourname+leads. A routine can run when mail arrives from a specific sender or a whole domain. xAI says routines filter by sender, not subject. Email that a routine writes waits as a draft until you press Send, and the docs say there is no option for unattended sending.
Prompt: "When a lead email arrives from my website form, check Zoho CRM for the contact. Draft a reply that answers their question about the property, offers two times I'm free this week, and asks if they already have an agent. Leave it as a draft and message me in Slack."
2. Listing description drafts from notes and photos
xAI's files docs say Grok Bot reads PDFs, CSVs, spreadsheets and images. Attach the photo files and your walk-through notes.
Prompt: "Write a listing description of about 180 words, a 40-word social caption, and a feature list from these notes and photos. Describe the property only. Don't describe who the home suits or the people in the area. List any claim from my notes the photos don't show."
Save the prompt as a skill. xAI says private skills sit in one library that all your Bots share.
3. Showing scheduling
Prompt: "When a buyer asks for a showing, check my free time, suggest two slots, and once they pick one, create the event with the address. Ask me before you add the event or reply."
xAI's approvals docs let you write Ask first rules, such as "Ask first before sending any external email." Ask first wins when two rules clash. Approval cards from routines expire after 30 minutes.
4. Market and comps research with source links
The Bot's browser can read public portals and county sites. xAI's files docs describe reviewable results: a doc with source links, a spreadsheet, and a list of what the Bot could not verify. They also warn against relying on a screenshot alone for data that changes fast.
Prompt: "Find recent public listings and price changes for three-bedroom homes within a mile of this address. Return a Sheet with the address, price, date seen and source link. Add a tab for anything you couldn't confirm."
This is research, not an MLS feed. Check every number in your MLS before it goes into a CMA or a client email.
5. Daily lead digest
Routines run on a schedule, a Slack message, an email to the Bot's address, or a webhook, among other triggers. A Bot can own up to 50 routines, and xAI recommends a no-data and stale-data policy. More setup tips are on our Grok Bot routines page.
Prompt: "Every weekday at 7:30, list new leads from the last 24 hours, leads I haven't replied to in two days, and today's showings. Post it to me in Slack. If nothing is new, say so in one line."
6. Open-house follow-ups
Prompt: "Tonight at 8, read the sign-in Sheet. Draft a thank-you to each visitor who left an email, and list who said they already have an agent so I skip them."
xAI says first-contact emails from the Bot address go to one recipient per message with an unsubscribe link, and the Bot stops emailing anyone who bounces or unsubscribes.
7. Transaction checklists
Ask for a tracker in Sheets or a Page (xAI says Pages are rolling out) with each deadline from the signed contract, entered by you. A routine reminds you two days ahead. The Bot never sets a contract date on its own.

Grok Bot for real estate guardrails: approvals and fair housing
xAI's use-case docs say every starter prompt should end at a review point and that sending, publishing and purchasing stay behind approval. Auto Review is on by default. Text inside an email or a web page never counts as your request, and xAI says email from others is treated as information, not instructions.
Fair housing is not optional. The Bot must not screen, rank or steer anyone by race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, or any other class protected where you work. Don't ask it to profile leads, and don't let it choose which buyers see which neighborhoods. Put those rules in your skill and in the Bot's memory. A licensed person reviews all listing copy and ads. This page is not legal advice; check with your broker or counsel.
If you share a Bot with your team, xAI's shared-Bot docs say the owner's connected apps and secrets are used in every teammate's chat. Connect only what everyone should use.

Who Grok Bot for real estate fits, and who it doesn't
It fits:
- A solo agent on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 who wants drafts ready before the day starts.
- A three-agent brokerage could share one Bot for lead intake and give each agent a personal Bot for showings.
- Offices already on Zoho CRM or WhatsApp Business.
- Anyone who doesn't want to run their own server.
It doesn't fit:
- Teams that need a built-in MLS, Follow Up Boss or DocuSign connector. None is listed.
- Offices that must keep client data on their own hardware. xAI says Grok Bot runs only on Cursor-hosted cloud computers.
- Anyone who wants unattended outbound email. Routine email always waits for Send.

Grok Bot for real estate FAQ
Does Grok Bot connect to the MLS or Zillow?
No connector is listed for either. The Bot can use its browser where a site's terms allow it, or work from exports you give it. Verify the data yourself.
Will Grok Bot email my leads without asking?
Not from a routine. xAI says routine email waits as a draft until you press Send. In chat, mail goes out once Auto Review allows it, so add an Ask first rule for external email.
Do my Bots share one computer?
Yes. All your Bots share one cloud computer, and each Bot gets its own screen on it. Files and sign-ins on it are shared.
Can it write my listing descriptions?
It can write first drafts from your notes and photo files. A licensed person reviews every listing for accuracy and fair housing before it goes live.
