DeepSeek SEO Tool For Beginners: The Free SEO Workflow

DeepSeek SEO tool workflow for beginners — this is the post I wish I had when I started.

If you've never done SEO before.

If you've never used DeepSeek before.

If you're not sure where to start.

This post is for you.

I'm going to walk through a complete weekend project — Friday night to Sunday afternoon — that takes you from zero to your first ranking page.

Free.

No paid tools.

No coding required.

Let's go.

The Goal — One Ranking Page By Sunday

By Sunday afternoon you'll have:

That's a real result for a weekend.

Most "learn SEO" courses leave you with theory and no shipped output.

This one leaves you with a live page.

Friday Night — Pick Your Niche And Keyword

Step 1 — pick a niche.

Pick something you actually know about.

Cooking, gardening, running, programming, parenting, anything.

If you're an expert in nothing, pick something you're learning right now and document the journey.

Niche picked? Good.

Step 2 — find a starter keyword.

Open Google in incognito.

Type the start of a question someone in your niche would ask.

Watch what autocomplete suggests.

Examples:

Pick one suggestion that looks like a tool keyword (calculator, generator, checker) — those are easiest to rank for.

That's your target.

If you want the deeper trending-keyword research method, my DeepSeek SEO post walks through autocomplete + Google Trends in detail.

Saturday Morning — Open DeepSeek

Go to chat.deepseek.com.

It's free. You don't need an account for casual use.

Click "Expert" mode (top of the chat).

Toggle on "Deep Think".

Toggle on "Search".

You're now in the configuration that produces the best output.

If you don't see those toggles, look for them in settings — they're usually one click away.

Saturday Mid-Morning — The Beginner Prompt

Paste this into DeepSeek (replace [KEYWORD] with your target):

Build a single-page HTML SEO landing page targeting the keyword "[KEYWORD]".

Include:

1. Hero section with H1 containing the keyword
2. A simple interactive element (calculator or generator if relevant)
3. A "what is [keyword]" explainer section
4. A "how to use" section with 3-5 steps
5. An FAQ with 6 questions using the keyword and related terms
6. A closing CTA inviting readers to learn more

Style: clean, modern, mobile-responsive, fast-loading.
Copy: 1st person, UK English, sentence per line, friendly but direct.
Output: one self-contained HTML file ready to deploy.

Hit enter.

Wait 60-90 seconds.

DeepSeek will produce a complete HTML file.

Saturday Lunch — Preview The Output

Click "Run" inside DeepSeek to preview the page.

Look at it on:

Things to check:

If it's 70%+ there, move on.

If it's poor, iterate with prompts like:

Two or three iterations and you're at production-grade output.

Saturday Afternoon — Deploy To Netlify

Sign up for a free Netlify account.

Go to Netlify Drop.

Save the DeepSeek HTML output as a file called index.html.

Drag the file onto the Netlify Drop page.

Netlify gives you a temporary URL like random-name.netlify.app.

Your page is live on the internet.

Test the URL on desktop and mobile.

Confirm it loads, the interactive element works, and the layout's clean.

Saturday Evening — (Optional) Custom Domain

Want to do this properly?

Buy the exact match domain from Netlify (or any registrar) — should cost under £15/year.

Examples:

Connect the domain to your Netlify deploy via the Netlify dashboard.

Wait for DNS to propagate (usually under 30 minutes).

Now your page is live on a keyword-matching domain.

That's the ranking accelerator.

For the EMD strategy in detail, my DeepSeek SEO post covers why exact match domains still rank in 2026.

Sunday Morning — Submit To Google

Go to Google Search Console.

Sign in with your Google account.

Add your URL as a property.

Verify ownership (Netlify makes this easy via DNS or HTML upload).

Once verified, go to "URL Inspection".

Paste your full page URL.

Click "Request Indexing".

Google now knows about your page and will crawl it within 24-72 hours.

Sunday Lunch — Quality Control Checklist

Run through this before calling the project done:

Anything missing? Fix it.

If everything's checked, you're done.

Sunday Afternoon — Plan Your Next Page

Don't stop at one.

The compounding starts with the second page.

Pick another related keyword in your niche.

Same prompt, swap the keyword.

Deploy as another page on the same site (using subdirectory) or as a separate Netlify drop.

Aim for 5 pages in your first month.

Each one teaches you something.

By month 3 you'll have 15-20 pages and Google starts treating you like a real site in your niche.

I broke down the multi-page strategy in my free AI SEO agent post — pairs naturally with this beginner workflow as the next step.

Common Beginner Mistakes

Trying to rank for "best [generic term]" on day one. Pick long-tail tool keywords. Save head terms for year two.

Writing fluffy content because AI generated it. Edit ruthlessly. Cut sentences that don't earn their place.

Ignoring mobile. Half your traffic will be mobile. Test it.

Skipping the indexing submission. Google might not find you for weeks without it.

Building 50 pages without checking the first 5 are working. Build, measure, iterate. Don't scale errors.

DeepSeek SEO Tool Beginner FAQ

Do I need to know HTML?

No — DeepSeek writes the HTML. You just deploy it.

Do I need a computer or can I do this on a phone?

Computer is way easier for the deploy step. Phone-only is doable but painful.

How long until I see traffic?

Realistic: 7-21 days for first organic visits to a long-tail tool keyword. Faster with indexing acceleration.

What if I don't know my niche?

Pick something you're actively learning. The "documenting the journey" angle ranks well because you're naturally on top of trending terms.

Should I use my real name?

Yes — builds trust and EAT (experience, expertise, authority, trust) signals for Google.

What if my first page doesn't rank?

Iterate. Most pages need one or two updates after launch — better internal linking, more depth, or a better keyword.
